HELP ME SHAVE MY MOP FOR THE CURE!
This is my first year participating in shaving my head for St. Baldrick's. I know I'm a little late to get the ball rolling, but I would love to make a decent splash. I have donated $50 myself and have set my first-year goal at $200, though this doesn't have to be all ;) UPDATE: I have surpassed my $200 dollar goal! Thank you to everyone and all your support! Now for the sappy part, I have been trying to figure out how to honor someone for my head shave but it will only let me honor children signed up on their list. I realize that this is an amazing opportunity to honor a child and recognize their struggle, this year is for one that was closer to home. My step brother Tanner will be the motivation behind my support and participation each year in the event. Through his own amazing story of his struggle with cancer, he provides a source of inspiration and hope for everyone, young and old alike, in their own battles and continues to amaze me everyone I get an opportunity to be around him. This one is for you Tanner. I've answered the call to be a hero. What will you do to make a difference?
