I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On Sunday, March 24, I am going to shave my head. Why? Well its not because I've given up on what little hair I have left but for a worthy charitable organization,I was introduced to St Baldricks at my local Kings Park bar, the Park Lounge, last year when I stopped in thinking it was a St. Patrick Day party. Well, after a couple of pints and a number of offers to shave my head. I happily donated a $100 for them NOT to shave my head. This year I want to do more.
Thankfully, I do not have any experiences with childhood cancer in my family but I can't imagine how difficult that must be for those dealing with that life halting event. All the more reason to get involved. If you'd like to support my efforts please go to the St. Baldricks web site to donate. I greatly appreciate your consideration of my request but If you can't help, no problem, maybe next time.

If your able to donate, before and after pictures available, please visit the St. Baldrick's Foundation web site and find the Kings Park event. Thank you so much for your support. It's a really great cause.

Respectfully,

Ed Recco
