I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: P-Didd's Boys

Well. I'm finally doing it. I have been considering participating in the St. Baldrick Day event for the last few years. Despite the great cause I have always managed to come up with one excuse or another to keep the hair on my head. This year my 5 year old nephew Patrick started school and met a boy who lost his leg to cancer. He wants to help and is joining his father and shaving his head. In an effort to raise the most money possible they decided to form a team. When Patrick asked me to join his team I found myself fresh out of excuses. So here it goes. I am going to shave my head and expose my massive cranium bare for all the world to see!!! This year, I will be participating in the Saint Baldrick's event as an act of solidarity with the children afflicted with this illness. Please donate as much as you can to help fight childhood cancer. You can donate through their website. If you prefer to donate with cash or check you can bring the donation to me and I will submit it for you. I would also like to invite you to come and join me on March 22, 2009 at Kitty Hoynes and see me go beautifully bald!!! You will also be able to meet some of the children and families your donation is helping. Thank you so much for your support!!!
