I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Nathan's Network

This my second year participating as a shavee. I will be keeping not only Nathan in my heart, but also my father who we lost to cancer in May 2008. In grief it is easy to be overcome by helplessness, which is one of the reasons that I love St. Baldrick's. It gives a constructive way to transform sadness into action. This year churches, charities, small businesses, and corporations are all short on funds because individuals are short on funds. What I'm asking is that you give something. Maybe if enough people who would've decided to pass give a little, it will make up for all those who have to give less this year. Thanks, Jim Barton
