I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fighting Irishman

I am shaving my head in honor of Patrick McSweeney. Patrick is the real Fighting Irishman! He was originally diagnosed with leukemia in 2004, just after his 5th birthday. He completed treatment, but then relapsed in April of 2010. Having completed a second grueling round of chemotherapy over two years, he was again off-treatment and in remission. Until Tuesday, February 19th, 2013. On this day, after a weekend of winning the City Championship basketball game and walking 9-holes of golf, he was found to have again relapsed, his second relapse and third time battling ALL. I am shaving my head in honor of Patrick, in honor of his fighting spirit and determination. I ask you to generously support my efforts to raise funds for childhood cancer research. It is through research that improved treatment methods have developed into treatment plans to put Patrick's leukemia into remission. It is research that will continue to improve treatment and outcomes, so that Patrick can again beat the Beast!
