I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Evan

My son, Evan, and I are shaving our heads to show support and stand up for all the kids that need our help. You can support them too and keep your hair. It's easy. Evan, 19 years old, was born with a brain tumor. He endured two years of chemotherapy, countless surgeries and today we still continue to deal with the long term effects. Evan is a college freshman, an eagle scout and studying to be a forensic scientist in law enforcement. We count our blessings every day that Evan is with us. Evan is a medical miracle. I can't say Evan is normal, but then who's kid is? Sadly, too many kids don't get to grow up be kids. No parent should ever have to bury their kids. Many of the ones that survive don't get to be kids. I have watched as kids suffer the pain of treatment, the pain of the endless therapy and the pain of not being like the other kids. Today, many kids survive the cancer to only deal with endless challenges. As one survivor told me, "no one understands me, except other kids who have had cancer". As one doctor said to me, our goal is not only to allow all kids to survive this disease, but to prevent children from ever getting cancer. Please help. Make a donation, every dollar helps. I thank you and pray that God blesses each and every one of you and your family. And remember, always hug your kids.
