I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I know many of you probably recognize me from years past, but this year is a little different because my son, Ryan, is currently battling cancer. He was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor in December and spent Christmas in the hospital after having his left kidney and the tumor removed. He also had two lesions in his lungs that required chemotherapy. While he is still undergoing chemo, his latest CT scan showed no signs of cancer.
