I first met Kaden in preschool (at least that's what my mom told me - we were only two years old so I really don't remember). Then, a year and a half ago, we were drafted to the same football team. He was a great teammate. If it hadn't been for Kaden's awesome blocks, I would not have been as successful on offense. He definitely had my back. Now, it's my turn. When I first heard about Kaden's diagnosis last year, I couldn't believe it. That's not supposed to happen to people you know. Two months later, my family and I attended the fundraiser at The Gooses Acre. I was happy to give money, but nobody was going to touch my hair. That's what I thought at first. I soon changed my mind.
