I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kaden

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kaden

I first met Kaden in preschool (at least that's what my mom told me - we were only two years old so I really don't remember). Then, a year and a half ago, we were drafted to the same football team. He was a great teammate. If it hadn't been for Kaden's awesome blocks, I would not have been as successful on offense. He definitely had my back. Now, it's my turn. When I first heard about Kaden's diagnosis last year, I couldn't believe it. That's not supposed to happen to people you know. Two months later, my family and I attended the fundraiser at The Gooses Acre. I was happy to give money, but nobody was going to touch my hair. That's what I thought at first. I soon changed my mind. Shaving my head was the least I could do for my friend. And I can't wait to do it again this year! Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
