I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Some of you may have heard me talk about a great fundraiser we had a few years ago to support the St. Baldrick’s foundation at my school. It’s a foundation that raises money for children’s cancer research. I don’t normally like to hit people up for money but this is a great cause that reminds me how lucky I truly am to have my wonderful, mostly healthy, children.
As a show of solidarity people are asked to shave their heads, raise money and/or donate their hair. I wasn’t planning on raising money this year, but my amazing 4 year old decided she was going to donate her hair to make wigs for children that have lost theirs from chemotherapy. Some of you may remember that Sahara donated her hair at the age of 3 for this event. She actually donated her hair again and does not currently have enough of a length to donate this time around but luckily her younger sister is stepping in. If Sameena can be that selfless at the age of 4 I am going to do my best to raise as much money as possible.
I am setting a goal of $1000 and would appreciate anything you can donate. There is NO pressure at all, I know times are tough for a lot of people right now but remember if Sameena can take off 8 inches of hair you can spare a dollar or two or better yet a lot more. It would be amazing if she could be a top raiser as well and a donator of her hair. So again I would appreciate anything you can spare.
< Thank you!
