I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Buddies

For the 6th year, I am answering the call to help raise much-needed funds in the battle against cancer. To do this, I am having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. One of our own local Shavees, Aaron Thompson, is battling cancer. Aaron (age 15) was one of the first children to shave his head in our Lawrenceville, NJ venue to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. He has been a Shavee since 2009 and his team, The Bald Buddies, have been growing in members ever since! In December of 2012, Aaron was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin Burkitt’s Lymphoma. Aaron is a wonderful, caring young man and tough-minded. With the support of his loving family, friends, neighbors, and the St. Baldrick’s Community he will get through this challenge. I am proud to be a member of The Bald Buddies and hope that you will support this important cause. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
