Lee and I have participated in this event every year since 2006 when our dear friend’s daughter was stricken with an aggressive form of cancer. Cancer leaves everyone feeling helpless. Supporting St Baldricks and standing tall with all the children who fight so hard is the one way we have found to fight this illness and not feel helpless anymore. We started participating in the event while Krissy was fighting her personal battle, and now that she is our angel, we continue her fight. Krissy was almost 6 years old when we discovered she had cancer. On Thanksgiving Day, in her 7th year, she lost her battle. We miss her terribly.
Lee and I will always be grateful to everyone who has helped us honor Krissy and continue her fight.
Whether it be with prayers, moral support or donations, we thank you. Let's keep fighting until the helplessness exists no longer!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least twenty years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
