I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Thanks for all the support that was given to me to help me reach and double my goal for St. Baldrick's.
I am so excited that I donate the majority of my hair to Locks of Love, and shaved my head in memory of my dear husband Chris that passed away from Cancer, also in memory of Mariah Cashen that passed away from cancer way to young, and then finally for all those children and adults that are fighting cancer and their families that are effected by this terrible disease.
This was a very emotional journey for me and I was glad to take part in this event that just happened to be on my mother's birthday(Anna Mare). She passed away in 1984 and is missed everyday. She too fought cancer as well as my step-mother Anne who lost her battle in 2000. I think of many others in my life that have been effected by cancer and I will continue to pray for them and try to do what I can to help find a cure.
Please continue to support those that are fighting cancer and the families that are effected by this terrible disease.
God Bless you all,
Lynne

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
