She was my best friend from the moment I knew she existed. My daughter, Jenna. When she was born, she was so tiny and perfect. She was loved by everyone that knew her.
When she was 2.5 we were devastated that she was diagnosed with low-risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). We never thought that pediatric cancer would be a part of our lives, but it is. Jenna is currently in remission and in the long term maintenance portion of her two and a half year long treatment.
To show support for my daughter and all of the other young heroes, I've answered the call to shave my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
