I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

THIS WILL BE MY SECOND YEAR BEING A SHAVEE AT THE ST.BALDRICKS FUNDRAISER, MY FIRST TIME WAS BACK IN 2006. SHAVING MY HEAD IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY TO RAISE MONEY FOR THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM CANCER. I HAVE TWO GROWN CHILDREN WHO WERE HEALTHY GROWING UP AND I AM THANKFUL FOR THAT, BUT MY STEP SON WAS NOT SO FORTUNATE, HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH LEUKEMIA AT THE AGE OF 11. HE IS NOW 22 AND VERY HEALTHY, HE IS A CNA AND HELPS OTHERS. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF HIM. SOMEONE ASKED ME WHY I WAS SHAVING MY HEAD AGAIN SINCE MY STEP SON IS IN REMISSION, MY REPLY WAS...SOMEONE ELSES CHILD IS GOING THROUGH TREATMENT AND THERE STILL IS NO CURE FOR CANCER. PLEASE HELP ME RAISE MONEY TO FIND A CURE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
