I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
The Bald Buddies
My name is Maxwell and this is my second time shaving my head for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
I am honoring Lorenzo F. He is the nephew of my dad's friend and colleague. He was diagnosed at the age of 9 with Hepatocellular Carcinoma. He is 11 years old and is currently in treatment.
I joined a team this year with one of my classmates called the Bald Buddies. The captain of out team, Aaron T., has been shaving his head since he was 11. He is 15 years old now and was just diagnosed in December of 2012 with Non-Hodgkin Burkitt's Lymphoma.
I shave my head to raise money for research and a cure to help kids like Lorenzo and Aaron. I shave my head to raise awareness. Please donate or better yet come and join our team The Bald Buddies and shave your head too. Thanks, Maxwell S.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
