I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Fish240
We've also always done this in honor of our close friend Chris Brizek (Fish). Fish was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2000. Never once did he let this slow him down in his zest for life. At last years St. Baldrick's we wanted him to watched as we shaved our heads. That wasn't enough for him. He wanted his head shaved too, knowing his grows back much slower. Afterwards we hung out and had a good time. Sadly this was the last time we got to do that. Shortly after Fish took a turn for the worse. On May 11, 2011 Fish lost his eleven year battle to brain cancer. This year we have formed a team to hopefully raise more : Fish240.So please help in honoring the memory of this great man. Any bit helps in hopefully finding a cure some day. ><:::>
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
