I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hey everyone! I really feel that now more than ever we need to do our part in helping such an important cause and that is why I have decided to shave my head this year. Anyone who knows me is aware of how much I like to change my hair. If there's anything I could be "known" for it would probably be my ever changing hair. Blonde, brown, red, black, purple, pink, blue, I've had every color. I know money is tight in these hard times which is why I would love to convince as many people as possible in Auburn (and surrounding areas) to donate at least one dollar. You may feel that it's silly to just donate one dollar but it's better than nothing and if enough people were to do it, it could really add up. Think about it, there's probably at least 10,000 people living in Auburn (I don't really have any idea how many people there are, but I'm guessing) if everyone donated at least a dollar we could make a huge difference in children's cancer research! I don't know that there's anyone out there that doesn't have at least one child that comes to mind whether it's their own child, a neice or nephew, grandkids, a friends kid. If you are fortunate enough to not have had to deal with this disease (as am I) consider yourself lucky cause there are families dealing with it all over the world. I personally don't want to ignore the issue just because it hasn't affected my family so please help me in raising as much money as possible to help find a cure. The event is being held on March 22 so please donate before then.
