I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures!! I have given this much thought and this past summer my decision was made for me first by finding Landan Bland (AKA: Team Landan on Facebook) and second by seeing a young lady (bald from chemo) on the beach in Michigan with her family enjoying the day. These childhood cancers have to be STOPPED!!
I have been blessed with a son and 14 nieces and nephews that have been healthy and I thought this would be a good opportunity to count my many blessings.
