I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

First I have to admit to all that I am too vain to go bald!! But, I am going to have short hair for the first time since 4th grade. I love kids and am very blessed to have a total of 10 nieces and nephews in my life. Being their aunt is one of the best and most important parts of my life! I am doing this because I am grateful for their health and know that CANCER is not discriminating and unfortunately can strike any child. The little girl from St Baldricks that I chose to honor was a one year old named Kimmy who loved her aunt very much. She looks like my niece Kim when she was one. It breaks my heart to know that children and families are going through this. We can only hope that a cure is found soon and any money that can be raised to fund the research is a small way we can make a difference. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
