My co-worker, Stan Ichiho, recently learned that his 15-year-old daughter, Katie, has Leukemia. Having two children of my own, I can imagine how difficult this is for a parent. But even more difficult for me to imagine is how a child fighting this battle feels. The physical and mental strength these young ones must have to battle against cancer is amazing. Katie began receiving treatment immediately, and is keeping a positive attitude through it all. She truly is inspirational! I'm having my head shaved to show support for Katie and all kids fighting cancer, and to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government
Thank you!
