I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: SMUD

A few short weeks ago our co-worker, Stan Ichiho, received the news that his 15-year old daughter, Katie, had Leukemia. Katie is an athletic freshman in high school who likes to play soccer and run both track and cross country. Please read below (Katie's own words): "I was really scared at first when i found out i had cancer, but with all the love and support from my family and friends I know i can get through this. Like my dad said, this is not going to be an easy journey. Its going to be a bumpy road with a lot of good days, but also some really bad ones too. I just have to keep my head high, and remember this is the only way to get better.I know i am strong enough, and i can defeat this disease. I just have to believe i can. :)" Please join the SMUD team in this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we appreciate your support. By getting involved, you'll not only be helping the Ichiho family, you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. This link: http://www.stbaldricks.org/where-the-money-goes/ is a great link to see how St. Baldrick's uses your donations. .

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
