I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Olivia Marie

4/28/12 Update: It's coming up on 4 weeks since I shaved my head to raise funds for childhood cancer research and am so proud of my friends and family for their support. I'm only 75 dollars away from my goal of $500 ( I have a check for $20 from Momma E I haven't added to my total yet - thank you Momma E!) Next weekend I'll be going door-to-door to get more donations, but I would be so grateful if you could make an online donation or send a check made out to St. Baldrick's and send it to me at 4510 Gillis St., Austin, TX 78745. $500 is my goal, but it's not a limit! I sent out an email 2 weeks ago to 200 people asking for just 5 dollars - that would have raised $1000! Unfortunately, only one person donated, so I'll be sending out another request soon. It's just $5!!!!!!! You can do it!!!!!! Thank you all for your support. <3 Gwen

3/31/12 Update: Headed over to my friend Cindy McGee's house in a few for her to dye my hair all colors of the rainbow before the Big Shave! Hope to have Paul Jordan and Katie Dengler join us...it'll be a party!
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

I may be a one-shavee show, but I'll be just as bald – and I hope you'll cheer me on with a donation!

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
