I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Childhood Cancer is a very real and serious issue everywhere. While cancer is becoming more and more treatable, it is so hard for many families to pay for the hospital bills. As a broke college student, I know how hard it is to pay for school and neccesities, much less pay for medical bills, so it's hard for me to imagine paying for hospital bills on my own.
I do know what it's like to be around hospital bills and cancer though. My mother had mellanoma when I was younger, and had to have a small portion of her chest removed. When my younger sister Zoe was born, she had a heart defect, and my family had to pay alot of money for her hospital bills. We had alot of support over the years as she was in and out of the hospital for various things other than her heart (dehydration as an infant, stitches, and surgery to have her adenoids removed) but I know it was hard to pay for both my mother and my sisters bills.
I am so grateful that my family is happy and healthy, but I know that it can be difficult. I want to help those who need it, and I want those in need to know that they are not alone, and that they have support everywhere.
Alot of people might view this as just an excuse to shave my head, but it's become so much more than that at this point. Please read the stories of the children i'm supporting, and please please please donate to help those children.
