I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
rossit
This experience was very different from what I expected. The night before I barely slept and the day of the event I started to wonder what I had gotten myself in to. The strange thing about the way I felt was that there was nothing wrong with me! I wasn't facing a battle for my life, I was just shaving my head (moustache and eyebrows too). Afterwards when I looked in the mirror other things went through my head like man my teeth look yellow. Are my lips really that small. I hadn't even walked around in public with strangers yet! That's when it hit me how difficult this struggle must be for people with cancer. I've watched someone I know fight this battle for several years. He is probably the toughest person I know and this experience has shown me that I do not even know the half of it. This orginization is one of the fastest growing fund raising events around. I believe the experience each shavee goes through is what is driving this growth. I want to thank everyone who donated money and time to this event. Somehow I walked away with more than I ever imagined. Thanks Again!!! Todd Rossi
