I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Daring Duet

Hey! It's me, singer-songwriter Shanna Hoar, and I'm teaming up with my partner-in-crime, fellow musician Scott T. to do some good in the world! We're shaving our heads on March 22 to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, and more importantly, to raise money to find cures. We might look a little funny at our next shows, but we'd like to use our exposure to share about St. Baldrick's with the people in our lives and the people we perform to. Everybody's been affected by cancer somehow, and to particularly be targeting childhood cancer research is a cause I feel passionately about, especially when the experience of being bald is tied into that. I shaved my head for St. Baldrick's 2 years ago, and it was one of the 2 best days of my life, and I'm so happy to have shared my passion for it with so many people. Our team name is The Daring Duet, but that doesn't mean it's just us two. Please consider joining our team and shaving with us and spreading the word, and making a donation to this incredible organization. We've already got our friend Gabe on board, but we want more! Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
