I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Ridge Road

Check out my short documentary showing my experience last year. Click on "View my Video" right next to my picture! I used the video as part of a presentation I gave in two classes in New Haven, CT. I wanted to tell other kids about St. Baldrick's and share with them ways they can help others. You heard it right - I'm shaving my head, again! I thought this would be the perfect way to honor my Uncle Chuck (Chuck Wilson), who recently passed away from pancreatic cancer, to support my grandfather, Poppie, (Richard Wilson) who is undergoing treatment for esophageal cancer, and to celebrate my Grandpa (Ron Gibbs) and mom (Monique Gibbs), who are cancer survivors. I hope to show my family how much I love and support them. I have learned that children can also be diagnosed with cancer and they typically lose their hair during treatment. I am excited to join several of my friends and teachers in this effort to raise funds for childhood cancer research! Last year I raised $910 and I am hoping to raise $1,000 this year. Please make a donation on my behalf so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
