I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kate's Share N Care

Hi If you haven’t already heard, I’ve been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I’m very lucky that it was caught early and I expect to be cancer free after one round of chemo. Because I may lose my hair from chemo and since I want to have fun and support cancer research, I’m going to have my head shaved at a St. Baldrick’s Foundation event on March 16th at Kilpatrick’s Pub in Ithaca and I’m asking for your support. Thanks to my friends Sharon (Mac) and Carrie (both veterans of the St Baldricks shave) we have a team called “Kate’s Share N Care”. Please make a donation on my head to help me reach my goal of $1000, and watch me and others “Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!” This is a fun way to do something very important. You can give directly here online or by phone at 888-899-BALD. On behalf of myself and some very special kids, thank you for your support! Sincerely, Kate Coffey

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
