Everyone knows someone in their lives who has fought some form of cancer. To fight that battle as an adult must be extremely challenging, but to do it as a child, I can't even imagine! I encourage you to read some of the inspirational stories that this website provides detailing some of the "true heros" of this organization.
Personally, I've been extremely blessed with the health of my children. I guess I've decided to help raise money as a way to "pay it back". Hopefully my participation will encourage you to help by making a monetary gift towards this worthy cause.
I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
