I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LIS

Hello, I'm Tucker Simpson and I'm shaving my head for St. Baldrick's. I'll be honest with you, at first I was going to shave my head because I thought it would be fun and all of my friends were doing it. But then I got reading; I read about an amazing boy named Austin who wasn't even a year old when he was diagnosed with (bilateral Wilms tumor) cancer and in his 3 year fight against it, lost his entire right kidney, half of his left kidney and his hair many times. I also read about a brave young man named Teddy. Teddy was diagnosed with (undifferentiated sarcoma) cancer in his chest. Teddy lost many things to cancer, sadly including his life. So, after reading this, I ask myself again why am I shaving my head? My answer is because I get to choose whether I shave my head or not and by doing this I'm helping kids who don't get to make that choice. I go to bed at night and worry about a test or a hockey game, these kids go to bed at night worried that they might not wake up in the morning. Cancer is a fire, blazing through people's hearts, and I hope by doing St. Baldrick's I can help dampen that fire and help stop it from doing anymore damage. I hope some of my friends and family will help me in this fight and donate to this important cause.
