I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Ninja

For those who might not know, this is my second year participating in St. Baldrick's at Changing Times. My thought the first time around: my favorite place, combined with a great cause, a fantastic idea. A HUGE understatement. The unity, camaraderie, and support of the participants was incredible. The courage, love, and will of everyone involved, from those battling cancer themselves, or those loved ones lost who still were in the hearts of their friends and family, it all was overpowering.

I would love your donations and support of course, as it all goes to fight childhood cancer. However, it's more about awareness. Cancer indiscriminately devastates our loved ones, family, friends. Childhood cancer is unfair and confusing.

An amazing family that I have been blessed to befriend has just lost one of their loved ones to cancer. I wholeheartedly extend my deepest gratitude to them, and proudly shave my head in honor of a wonderful person and a great inspiration. No donation is too small, and thank you again, even if it was just taking the time to read my message!
