I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Emily's Team

Luci and I are now bald. We got shaved today at a St Baldricks event to raise money for childhood cancer research. I had little 5-year-old Austin who has battled cancer since he was 10 months old shave my head. Looking into those little eyes, knowing that this moment in time that he and I shared today could lead to a cure... a possibility that a child might not have to endure what he has endured in his short life, a possibility that friends and family members might be spared the tears, the sleepless nights, the fear of facing the anguish of losing their child to cancer.
