For the third year in a row, I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. After having gone through a fight with cancer by my Mom's side, I feel like I know how painful and intense the disease is and how it takes it's toll on individuals and families. I don't ever want anyone to go through what my Mom and my family went through. That is especially true for children who cannot comprehend what is happening to them.
