I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Anchorage Firefighters 1264

For the third year in a row, I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. After having gone through a fight with cancer by my Mom's side, I feel like I know how painful and intense the disease is and how it takes it's toll on individuals and families. I don't ever want anyone to go through what my Mom and my family went through. That is especially true for children who cannot comprehend what is happening to them. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids, many of whom live right here in Alaska. Every amount is welcome, from $1 and up. Give what you can afford. And of course, you can write it off on your taxes! Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
