I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Pretty Penguins

I was first introduced to the world of childhood cancer in sixth grade, when my teacher's daughter died from complications of leukemia. Just under a year later, my own younger brother was diagnosed with Aveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. I had always wanted to be a doctor, but after my brother's diagnosis and treatment, I have decided to go into pediatric oncology. I am currently a senior in high school. This is my fifth year participating in St. Baldricks. I will be donating my hair, which I have been growing out since I shaved in 2008, and donated again in 2010.
