I’m going to do something pretty extreme, and I’m asking for your support. I’m going to have my head shaved at a St. Baldrick’s Foundation event on March 17, 2012 from 12PM to 3PM at Quaker Steak & Lube in Greenville.
By raising this money, I'm answering the call to be a hero! I'll have my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Cancer has touched my life personally as I’m sure it has many of you as well. My mother Pauline has been battling breast cancer for over twenty years and I recently lost my dear friend Anne (shown in my before pic) to lung cancer that’s why I’ll be dedicating my hair cut to my mom and Anne.
Thank you!
