I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Party Rock

I decided to shave my head this year in honor of my friends. There are two people in my life right now that are affected by cancer; My friends husband was diagnosed, and has gone through two chemotherapy treatments, and my best friends cousin who is 9 years old was diagnosed with Leukemia. I hope to raise some money and participate in this brilliant even and support this organization. Both of my sisters participated in St Baldrick's twice in the past, this year I am the only one in my family participating. I donated 15" of hair to Locks of Love on Superbowl Sunday, and had my first experience with the Clippers and fell in love!! My transformation from my long hair to bald won't be as drastic right now since I cut the hair off in advance, so hopefully I can make a contribution to the event that is just as drastic.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
