I am shaving my head again for St. Baldrick's. This will be my third year participating. I will be shaving My head in Honor of Beautiful Young Lady by the name of Makaylyn Serrano or "Mae". On March 9, 2010 at age 7 Mae's parents took her to the Doctor for what they thought was Mononucleosis. After some Blood work she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Her Pediatricain referred her to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology which is a part of the Department of Pediatrics and Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Mae will be finishing her Chemo Treatment June 2012! The Fantastic People at these Hospitals Need Help funding research to Battle this Evil thing We call Cancer. Help me surpass my Goal of $1500!!!!!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
