I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 4th district

This year I am again participating in St. Baldrick's and shaving my head to help fight kids' cancer. Last year my life was forever changed in that I lost two important people in my life to cancer. In March, one of my dearest friends, Jason Ritter, who was, and still continues to inspire the people that knew him, died after a courageous year long battle with cancer. Then, in the fall, my father's best friend of over 50 years, Danny Bastick, succumbed to the disease after a long tough fight. Now, as 2012 is just under way, my family learned that my Auntie Marianne is bravely beginning her own fight, and my family is praying that she, like my Uncle Tom did last year, can beat this terrible disease. Watching loved ones face and fight such a disease can be a struggle in itself, and to think of a child battling cancer is unimaginable to me. This year, myself, along with my team and so many others are joining in a common goal to do what we can to help children in their fight. Please, if you can contribute, any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.
