I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: EGV Public Works

Recently, I've been more inspired than to just participate with the team, since the passing of a family friend, Graham Woody (August 12, 1968 - February 5, 2012). He fought off childhood cancer, only for it to catch up with him almost 40 years later. So it's really for Graham, his family, and the wife and child he left behind, for whom I'm driven to participate.

I regret that I knew Graham only for a brief time in my childhood and that I only remember his immense musical talent and his brilliance. It was my family that knew his, and Graham probably wouldn't have remembered me. So I remember him here as my inspiration, only to point out that childhood cancer is probably closer to you than you realize.

So, please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids (and note that they may not even be 'kids' anymore). Thank you!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
