I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: MS Frontiersmen

I originally decided to do this because I could not think of a good reason not to and my hair will quickly grow back. Simple really, it wont hurt me and might make my friends laugh for a few days. Today I learned the terrible truth behind why kids and adults go through the pain of chemo and radiology and lose their hair, they want to live and enjoy life. Not everybody wins that fight and last night I felt the pain of losing a friend to cancer and now it does hurt. There is a new star in heaven and more broken hearts left behind. My initial reaction is why? This is so unfair and is the second time in a year this has happened to me personally. If the funds we raise could help find a cure then surely we have done a good thing.
