I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
MoJo
Hi:
I would really like to thank you for visiting my fundraising page for St. Baldrick's Foundation. Until very recently, I didn't really know much about St. Baldrick's and the important work they do to help with the fight against childhood cancers. As it happened, some very dear college friends of mine were already participating in this fundraising event
(as Team Mojo) and my family and I were already scheduled to fly down to visit them in North Carolina on the day of the event...and they asked if I wanted to participate. Raise money for a great cause AND get a free head shave? You bet- win/freakin' win!
Take a look at this website as I did and you'll see that your donation will be well spent helping children with their fight against cancer. I hope that you will consider making a donation - any amount is appreciated and will help the cause. I promise to post pictures of the event so you can see that I held up my part of the bargain to get my head shaved!
Those that know me well, know that I'm somewhat of a goof...and that I like to joke around quite a bit. It's all in good fun but the work of this charity is serious business!
Maybe you can skip that morning coffee at Dunkin' Donuts for a week or three and donate to St. Baldrick's Foundation instead. It will certainly be worth it and- you could lose weight in the bargain!! I certainly appreciate it and I know those kids will, too!
Thanks!
Gary
