I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Lake Street Elementary School

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Lake Street Elementary School

My name is Nate Tufts. The total number of years I have done St Baldrick’s has been 4 years. The first year I did it, I was in kindergarten. This will be my fifth year. I am the caption of the Lake Street St. Baldrick’s team. I’ve promoted St. Baldrick’s at school by making a commercial that was shown on every classroom TV. Overall, in all the years I’ve been doing it, I have raised over $3300. In the past, I have dyed my hair crazy colors before I get it shaved. I am looking for more ideas for this year (it can’t be any really crazy colors at school). Also, I have not had a haircut since August, and my hair is longer than ever! And last, but not least, you may come and watch us get our head shaved plus donate. The event is at the Crown Point Fire Department and a corned beef and cabbage dinner will be available. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
