I decided to do this in honor of Eric McLean. Although he is an adult now, he wasn't when his journey with cancer began. He was a teenager who had his whole life ahead of him who got hit hard with AML cancer. The doctors told him he didn't have much time. But anyone who knows Eric, knows he is one guy that doesn't take no for an answer! He fought so hard! He has beat cancer several times & this time would be no different even though it was his 5th time going through it. He received his remission status on August 24, 2011, (my mom's birthday, what a cool birthday gift huh?). Everyday he continues to fight this fight. He is pretty amazing!
