Dear Friends, Family, & Colleagues,
My fraternity (Sigma Phi Epsilon - "SigEp") is hosting our 6th annual event on March 16th at the Drexel Armory in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is the nation's largest volunteer driven chairty committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers - giving survivors long and healthy lives. To raise money for this charity my brothers and I are asking friends and family to support our fundraising event which consists of a concert and head shaving of all volunteers showing solidarity to children with cancer.
Every child should be able to live a full and healthy life. Every child has a dream - big or small, simple or spectacular. But too many dreams have been compromised in the lives of kids with cancer. Some kids are forced to find new dreams, while others' dreams are lost during a battle with cancer. This year I will be shaving my head for the 2nd time. I am writing you to ask for a donation to help my fraternity raise our goal of $35,000, and to help me raise my personal goal of $400. Whether you give a donation of $.01 or $100 - every penny counts and is that much closer to a cure pediatric cancer.
You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

Thank you for your support!
Kind regards,
