I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I don't even have the words to explain why I not only WANT to do this, but feel the NEED to. In 2011, cancer, in it's many forms made a very real impact on mine and my family's and loved ones lives. I chose to become a St. Baldrick's shavee after an internet search of childhood cancer organizations. I am doing this in memory of those we lost in 2011, and those we know and love, and also those we don't, who continue the fight and battle against cancer.
