I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On March 11, 2012, I will celebrate 35 years of a beautiful life! Won't you help me celebrate my birthday by NOT giving me a birthday gift, but instead donating to a worthy cause? Let's band together in support of finding a cure for childhood cancer... let's help those little pumpkins live to celebrate 35 years (and more!) of a miraculous life!

The Details:

I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.

Goal:

My goal is $300.00, but I really want to BLOW THAT GOAL OUT OF THE WATER!! :-D

(Update: Thanks to the donors, we reached the halfway point towards our goal on the second day - hooray! So, I've bumped the goal up to $500! Let's keep pushing it!)

(Update: We're at $420 and I know there are more people who've expressed a desire to donate... so let's get rockin'! The new goal is $1,000!!! I know we can do it!!)

With sincere gratitude,

Christy Sabo
