I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research
One day last July I had a Satori in Dublin (eat your heart out Jack Kerouac) where it dawned on me that I wanted to teach children how to survive in the wilds of the mountains and the wilds of the world as well. Upon returning to the States after 23 years overseas I was introduced to Patrick and Climb For Five by our friend Dawn who had relayed my dream. Having survived a few life changing events recently I realized I was here for a purpose other than being a vagabond/ski bum. So that is how I became a part of St. Baldricks & Climb For Five, giving me an unselfish purpose in life.
I am a qualified chef and have lived and have worked around the world.
I am proud to be a part of Climb For Five and hope to be an inspiration to all the children and young adults out there who are battling cancer. Please support St. Baldrick's by donating.
With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope! So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Make a donation online, or donate by phone or mail.
