I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cancer Crushers

Hello everyone, My name is Ashley

I will be shaveing my head for Stbaldricks with team Cancer Crushers.

Cancer has efected my life alot. It hurts alot seeing my loved ones suffer. I can not imagen what a parent feels when their child has cancer. Or Cant imagen how child or anyone with cancer feels. Child has to be very difcult as its alot harder explain to child why their sick...

Here is my story with my family and cancer.

This summer my grandma found out she had colon rectal cancer and lymth nod efected.

Were such close family it was very heart renching. We have known whole time she is fighter though.

In july she had her frist surgery and had more complactions then you could imagen. Her insion did not heal got sevral infected.. Blessing though never healed though. As its been seaping for months. Thinking it was infected agin... NOPE... Her bowl had moved up threw her stomach. Luckly she had that wond open from surgery or it would of went all in her body and killed her.....

Then couple wks befor christmas... She had magor stroke.. Due to blood clots... Still has one in her heart... To find out chemo causes lots blood clots. So she end up haveing go under get blood clot removed from her foot and her brain.

Normaly blood clot to head kills.

She showd once agin she was fighter,

She is still fighting with her cancer and will keep doing intill she kicks its BUTTT!!!
Luckly we found out Jan. 25 no more chemo for her and she wont have to go threw the radation!!!
As the chemo shrunk the tummor. She will still end up with colstmybag most likly due to her bowl moving up.
So in few months when engery is built up will undergo surgery agin to have the tummor removed!!

Then few wks ago we found out are 3 cousion has stage 4 and 5 pancritis, lung, liver and adomnal cancer. Has to children under age 18.

Has been given less then 6 months put on hocpice.
( My cousion Jasmine after month of battleing cancer. Passed away 2-6-2012 will be missed by so manny)
This has made me so sad, That my family is suffering and so manny others to. I cant imagen the parents that have to watch their young babys kids and teens and younng adults suffering cancer.

So please help me raise money for these young ones, you can donate here on my page.

Thank you, Ashley
