I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Highlanders

I don't personally know a child with cancer, but at my workplace it seems to have become a common plague on the associates. We have several associates at the Wal-Mart I work at who have cancer, or who have died due to cancer in recent months. Seeing them go through what they do is quite scary to be honest, and they are adults who are able to understand what is happening to them. I can't even imagine what it must be like for a child to go through it. I hope that shaving my head will be an inspiration to those around me, and I also hope that it will be a reminder that we can not give up hope.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
