Hey, Maria here. I've been considering shaving my hair for three years now, and with a lot of push from my roommates and a generous donation from my bosses, it's finally the year to do this. I lost my grandma to cancer this past summer, and after 21 incredible years of getting to know her, I still felt like she was taken from me too soon. I can't begin to imagine the pain of losing a child to the same thing before they were given the chance to experience life. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!

Also, I know charity can be exhausting. If you're in the New York City area, swing by
Dos Toros and reward yourself with a burrito. DT owners, Leo and Oliver Kremer, have agreed to match up to $200 dollars of donations.
