I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Trevor's Crew

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Trevor's Crew

The other day I received an e-mail from a fellow coach of the soccer league that my oldest, Palmer, plays in and that I coach in. This e-mail (which you can read below) and the news 7 attachment were inspiring. My initial feeling was of encouragement from a young boy that is facing his trials head on and is doing what he can to help others face theirs ailments well. But then I was struck with a feeling that brought me to tears. It was a sense of gratitude for the fact that Tara and I have been blessed with three wonderful boys that have healthy bodies. I knew right then and there that I wanted to support Trevor and thank God at the same time. I have now joined Trevor’s team and this Thursday March 10th I’m having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please stand with me by supporting Trevor’s team with a donation of any amount.

This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
